tklmap is a site created with the aim of bringing tickling enthusiasts together, be it in the real world or simply just online.

If you've ever spent time trying to find someone who shares your passion for tickling, you might understand how frustrating it can be. There are many separate communities spread across the internet, and many different types of people exist within those communities. Sometimes these communities are sparsely populated or inaccessible; you have to register or pay up to get inside. So it is often difficult to find someone who is compatible and (if you're looking to meet offline) nearby! What if an open, accessible site existed that acted as a persistent record of people in your area who are interested in tickling? And what if you could filter those people by things such as gender, age, sexuality and position to find someone truly compatible? With these goals in mind, tklmap was born!

tklmap is (hopefully!) intuitive to use. You can browse markers in your area on the homepage map and tap or click them to view more information. If you are interested in placing a marker of your own, simply tap or click the map on the homepage to get started.

Open the filter menu in the top left corner of the homepage to start filtering markers based on your interests. You can also apply a region filter, using the region menu found next to the filters menu, to narrow the map down to your relevant area. If you think applying filters every time you visit the homepage might get tiresome, consider registering an account to access automatic filtering.

Please report any markers you see that you think are breaking any rules by tapping / clicking on them and selecting the 'Report' option. Reasons for reporting a marker could include: all the contact methods on the marker are dead, the marker owner seems to be younger than 18 or if the marker information contains hateful or offensive text. If in doubt, submit a report!

In order to improve the load time of the map, markers are cached locally on your machine for a short amount of time. This means that if you view the map on another device that you have used previously to browse tklmap shortly after making changes to your marker, you may not see your changes straight away.As long as your changes are showing in the Edit Marker panel or the User Markers section, your changes have been successful and will be visible on the map shortly! If you think something else has gone wrong with your markers, please get in touch via the Contact page.

Although registering an account is a great idea, the answer is, no - you can still place and view markers without doing registering an account.

Registered users gain access to additional features that make interacting with the site much easier, such as: filter presets, marker hiding, custom marker icons, marker favouriting and a dedicated marker management section. As development of tklmap continues, new features are likely to be added that are only accessible to registered users. So if you consider yourself an avid user of tklmap, consider registering an account today!

When you add a marker to the map as an unregistered user, you will be presented with the option to create an account as part of the marker creation process. You can also create an account by visiting the Login page and selecting 'Create New Account'.

If you have existing markers on the map that you wish to associate with your tklmap account, visit the 'My Account' -> 'My Markers' section and select 'Claim existing marker'. By providing a marker link and marker password, you will be able to transfer ownership of the marker to your registered account. To keep the map as uncluttered as possible, please delete any old markers you made before registering an account that you no longer want!
